Thredbo Chairlift

Today we took the chairlift at Thredbo up the mountainside. It was really, really, windy and very cold so the children refused to walk much towards the Kosciuszko mountain. There was still a great view from the top!

We drove further into the national park for our first wilderness camp. Imagine pit toilets, no electricity or water, no mobile reception, just wildlife for company. We passed an old hut at Geehi Flats and the one of the several power stations along the Snowy River. We finally camped up at tiny Clover Flat camp-ground.
