Tower of London

Today we went to one of London's most popular tourist attractions - the Tower of London. It's quite pricey to get in but you can get 2 for 1 offers with national rail tickets. We spent the day looking around the various parts of the castle and visiting the crown jewels.

Bath Spa

Today we went to Bath to see the Roman Baths museum. This World Heritage site contains the almost complete Roman Bath house along with lots of Roman artefacts. Admission include an audio guide, there's even a children's version. The audio guide features Roman characters talking about their lives and the items on display. There is also an activity sheet and trail for the kids. You can no longer swim in the hot baths themselves but you can taste the spring water.

Next to the baths is the Bath Abbey. We took a look inside and the children insisted on doing another treasure hunt around the building.
