Cornwall Day 2

Today we went to Tressilick Gardens, Pendenis Castle and Falmouth.

The castle also has remnants of a WWII base, including anti - air and ship guns.

Melbourne Fire Musuem

The Melbourne Fire Musuem showcases many historical items from over the years from Melbourne and it's suburbs and rural areas fire services.
This collection includes things such as horse drawn fire engines, gunpowder operated sprinklers, 1950s portable radios, and a wall full of fire helmets.

Melbourne Musuem

The Melbourne Musuem is a large collection of galleries with many exhibitions, such as a dinosaur exhibition focussing on one of the world's most complete triceratops fossils, a history of Melbourne section including Phar Lap, and Aboriginal and Pacific / Torres strait islander sections.

A couple of other sets of bones, including a pterodactyl.
Miniature Rolls-Royce Phantom and some mechanical parts.

Locked glove, the mortal enemy of the teenager.
A collection of Goldfields weaponry and a large amythst geode.
Some snakies and a 600+y old tree.

We also did a tour of the Royal exhibition building across from the musuem. In order: the great hall, the dome above, the view from the promenade.
