Margaret River Region - Exploring the Coast

The weather here is really hotting up. We decided to make the most of it and get down to the coast for some swimming and snorkelling at Eagle Bay. A wet suit was still required though!

We visited several deserted beaches along the Cape Naturaliste coastline along with the lighthouse. The tour to the top of the lighthouse was interesting. Our guide explained that it is important to keep the light turning even in the daytime because the magnification of the sun through the lens is so powerful that it could start bush fires if left in one position too long.
