Camden Show 2014

This weekend we attended the 128th Camden Show. After lots of rain the showground was seriously muddy! We were expecting to need a tractor to tow us out of the carpark but thankfully we managed to slide our way along.

We saw lots of the usual stalls and shows including the reptile show, lumberjack show, mini stunt bikes, lawnmower racing, precision driving, brumby run, fireworks and lots more.

The children got to meet lots of farm animals along with people who help us such as the police, fire service and SES. They even got to try out the council bin trucks.

This year we again entered the arts, crafts and needlework competitions. We were so happy to find out that we had won 10 prizes between the 3 of us! R also won the special prize for best exhibit in the art section. Here they are with their certificates and ribbons.

Here's Mum's entry. So what did I spend the $25 prize money on? Well a car wash for a start although that was a waste of money as there is still loads of Camden Show mud clinging to the wheel arches.
