Continuing on with our theme of patterns, this week we did some printmaking. The children used lino tools and the new soft-cut lino (available in Masters DIY stores in the craft section) to cut a motif block. We then cut out a card stencil for the background colours. First they stencilled on the background shape in their chosen colours and then printed the motif over the top.
