We had our end of term celebration day at our home education group. The children have been studying Venice so we had a Venetian party.

We followed a traditional Venetian program of events. First we played games and the children learnt a little Italian in the process. Then we had the "theatre", well a cartoon in Italian anyway. Next was the food. Each family brought and Italian dish to share. After dinner a couple of parents showed us how to waltz and we had a go with some Italian music.
