Wildflowers Western Australia

Today we went to Kings Park, the World's largest inner city park, to see the wildflower displays. Our favourites were the sculptural kangaroo paws, the state of Western Australia's floral emblem.

There were also carpets of pink, white and yellow everlastings and other wildflowers.

Many of the trees were also in blossom and the Banksias were flowering.

The children enjoyed climbing the trees and walking the nature trail.

We saw the old boabab tree and some great views across Perth.
