Today I got out some of my old sketch books and we had a look through them to see what type of thing can go into a sketchbook. We found drawings, paintings, notes, collage, fabric experiments, photographs, postcards, exhibition leaflets and more. This year the children will be keeping their own sketch books. To start with we took inspiration from the Sketchbook Challenge book by Sue Bleiweiss.
Our first challenge is circles. We made doodles in our sketch books, using circles off different sizes, which we then painted with watercolours.
