Yarra Bend Park

We took a 12.5 (with many detours) km walk to Yarra Bend, which is a park with flying foxes and lots of nice river views.
Flying foxes (very hard to see due to distance), approximately 50000 bats in the entire colony!

We went to the Polly Woodside ship and museum today.
The ship had cabins, galleys and a large storage area underneath.
And a few cool ship-related things such as sailmaking tools.

Ceres Organic Farm

We went to Ceres organic farm today, which has a large variety of plants, animals and delicious food. There is a market garden, of which the produce goes to the cafe on site or to their grocery.

The community garden plots were growing really nicely, with tomatoes and pumpkins especially looking good.
We tried the cafe with its garden grown produce (10/10!) It was super nice. There was also chickens, a community bike shed and mini market.
