This week we began working on projects. The children are free to choose what they would like to study. First we brainstormed ways in which we could study a subject. We came up with reading about it, drawing, writing, using the internet, making models, asking questions and loads of other ideas. We also talked about what wasn't working on a project and came up with a much smaller list including playing random Playstation games and watching cartoons.
This week L chose to find out about wild animals. She looked through some books and watched a few YouTube clips. She then decided to paint what she had seen.
R was interested in finding out how to play chess. He used the internet to find out how to set up the board and then we had a few games. He watched some YouTube clips to get some tips on playing and then played against the computer.
