This week we looked at animal dwellings for our scrapbook challenge. First we looked at some amazing birds' nests on ABS's of Animal World. We also had a book from the library called "Animal Architects". After we had a few ideas about the type of nest birds might make we made our own. We used pipe cleaners, straws, wool, fabric scraps, foil scraps and coloured feathers. Pom-poms formed the eggs. We didn't use any glue (except for sticking the eggs in), the whole nest was woven together - a lot harder than it looks we discovered.
