Today the children worked on fabric panels for their treasure chest (see previous posts). They ironed fabric scraps onto felt using Bondaweb (fusible webbing). R is becoming an expert on the sewing machine and was able to do all the machine stitching around the edges of his pieces himself. L needed some help. Once the pieces were sewn on they added fake gemstones stuck on with fabric glue before attaching the panel to the treasure box.
