Drawing Dinos

Triceratops by R

Stegasaurus By L

Today we worked like palaeontologists to add flesh to dinosaur bones. The children each had a picture of a dinosaur skeleton. We talked about which bones of the skeleton would have most muscle or flesh around them and why. The children then used tracing paper over the top of the skeleton picture to draw how they thought the dinosaur looked with flesh. We transferred these sketches to drawing paper and then added shading.
