We are nearing the most exciting part of our sculpture project - making the full size sculptures. This week the children used their design boards to come up with a sculpture design that features elements of our back garden. We added a stick man for scale.

Next we chose our favourite and made a maquette to place in our model garden (see above). R chose to make a wooden "mountain" sculpture and L chose to make a metal "tree" with glass lanterns on it.

Our next challenge will be to build these full size and place them out in the garden.
