Today we went back to the National Maritime Museum to have another look at the boats and submarine. We also caught the new "Ships And The Sea" hands on exhibition.

We visited the replica Endeavour and checked out the toilet facilities pictured below. The black hole in the deck (top left) is where the crew sat to do their business straight into the sea. The bucket holds water for dipping the rope "brush". I'll leave it to your imagination to work out what they did with the rope brush.
