Banana DNA

Today we did an experiment from Mr. Q to extract the DNA from a banana.

Chop the banana

Add some salt

Add water

Sieve out the juice

Add soap

Add rubbing alcohol and leave for a while

The whitish stuff floating on top is apparently the DNA
