We managed to rescue our
square foot garden, and most of the precious soil, from our rental property and transfer it to our new house. Today we topped up with compost and vermiculite. Next the children added plants that they had chosen from the garden centre. We are trying tomatoes, cucumber, beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, basil (2 types) lettuce (4 types) purple peppers, onions, watercress, spinach and pansys.
