Pop Art

We have just been to see the Pop art exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW.

Back at home the children made these pop art pieces. The comic book style portraits lesson is from Art Projects For Kids, and you can download the dot template from that site. We used acrylics, markers and coloured pencils.

The children used PhotoShop to design their own versions of the famous Campbell's soup cans painting (which can be seen in the exhibition).

We used collage and oil pastels to make these cartoons in a similar style to the pop artists.
