Last night R and I attended another awesome family astronomy night at UWS Werrington observatory. Of course it was very dark so no actual photos for you. However we attended a lecture about star formation and "life cycle", watched a 3D film about asteroids and comets, and stargazed through the telescopes. We got to see a range of objects through the telescopes including the moon, Saturn, galaxies, nebula, supernova and star clusters .
Here is a mobile that the children made at home showing the different types of galaxies.
